Great coverage now!

Purchased this device because we have an office in a metal building with a metal roof. We had zero cell service in the building. This came today and we immediately installed it. Not Bad

I’d like to share my opinion about Nikrans LCD-500GD signal amplifier. Its not bad in general, although there are some drawbacks. As for the level of signal - it has become much better with the amplifier, I can make and receive calls without any problems. But one thing is still missing - I mean the support of 2100 MHz frequency. The device works at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz frequencies, which are more often used by the operators to transmit gsm signal. So if you need to improve mobile internet its better to choose another model.

Cheap and Effective

We have this booster at our office. Before the booster it was impossible to lead any negotiations with partners on the phone, as there hardly was a place at the office with a stable GSM signal. Nice model

The reception at my cottage house, located 35 km from the city, was awful. There was constant interference and it was impossible to speak on the phone. With NS500 GW everything is okay. The GSM signal as well as mobile internet is stable and uninterrupted.

If you need it, it will do the job

I live in a rural area. Before the booster I had pretty good service in my driveway, but the service in the house would be more like 0-2 bars. This device gave me 3 bars in the house and reliable LTE. It does what it says. But it is a pricey device. I never had dropped calls in the house, even with only 1 bar. Since I have good wi-fi and my provider allows me to make calls, I don't actually need this device. The improvement isn’t sufficient enough to justify the cost. For somebody in a different situation, this could be quite useful.

Effective

This is one of the best marine boosters I’ve ever used. I had a lot of them, but this one is the most effective and it has a huge coverage area – about 2500 m2. So the working principle is the same as in home boosters, the main difference is only in the antennas. The outdoor antenna in the marine repeater is omnidirectional, so it catches signal in 360 degrees around and it’s great. The maximum distance from the shore should be no more than 40 km.

So simple

I think that even a non-tech person will easily make out how it’s installed and how it works. The order included three main elements of the amplifying system - two antennas and the booster box - and all the necessary cables and mountings. I didn’t find the manual, but I managed to install the device on my own without any difficulties.

Connection became better

The connection has become a little bit better with the amplifier. Pay attention to the distance between the antenna and repeater. It should be more than 2 meters to ensure stable work of the booster.

Awful design

It amplifies the signal well, but it looks awful! The colour is so strange, and it’s a bit more massive than I imagined. However, I have to put up with it, as I couldn’t find anything better for the same price.

Okay for 900 Mhz

I recommend you to install a special smartphone application and to check the working frequencies of your operator and the level of existing signal in advance. In particular, check the quality of the network at the place where you plan to mount the external antenna. I took the booster to amplify 900 Mhz frequency in the cafe. It’s located in the basement in the city center, and the reception is very poor inside the building. Although I didn’t expect it, the connection became better with the booster.

Convenient and compact

The booster performs its main function well. This is the best solution for our small house. It’s easy to install, compact and so convenient. Doesn't work with FreedomPop

When I had installed the booster, I realized that it didn't work. I mean it didn't amplify the connection for my operator. I'm using FreedomPop. Then I called the support team and it turned out that this model isn't compatible with my provider. However, the company has a 30-day return policy and I managed to change this model for the one that suited me.

Perfect for village

Proved to be excellent in operation. We have mobile signal even in the rooms where the reception was zero. Works stably, with no interference. No more network problems

If you constantly suffer from signal problems and poor reception, this thing is what you need. My operator is EE so the device effectively boost signal and ensures stable internet connection. I have been using it since last year and I have had no signal issues since then. If previously I got nervous whenever I made or received a call - now I get 100% satisfaction from using my smartphone. A low-maintenance device

I always love it when I don’t have to buy any extra details, wires or antennas, because online stores tend to not mention such things. But this one worked out perfectly, and I never have to adjust anything when it works. Though upon installation you have to find a really good place for the outdoor antenna could nicely catch the signal. I had to change the position of mine twice.

I don’t regret buying it

I downloaded several signal test apps to test this booster out for signal strength and how well it amplifies the existing 4G signal, and the results were great. It was also a good way to find out in which direction I should point the outside antenna to get the best results out of it. Long story short, I don’t regret buying this device and I can recommend it to anyone who has poor 4G signal at their place.

For 700 MHz frequency

If you need to improve 4G around a small area this is okay, but if you want to have voice connection amplified - the booster won’t help because it works only at 700 MHz. Actually, this is the reason why it costs so little.

Best for its price

You can’t expect to get a booster with a huge coverage for such a low price, so I believe that this is the best option for its money. It improves the signal well in my house, which is a bit more than 100 m2. The device is compact, almost unnoticeable, and highly effective. Recommended!

Doesn’t work with many UK operators

Yes, this booster is cheaper than others, but it doesn’t work for many UK operators. We bought it for amplifying O2 and Vodafone, and it worked. However, if you need to boost EE or Virgin mobile signal, it won’t help you.
