The device is ok. It copes with its tasks easily. Maybe in future I will use more inside antennas to spread the signal more efficiently, although the level of signal I have now is satisfactory.

Unfortunately, the standard kit didn’t include the lightning protection, so I decided to order it additionally. And I advise you to do the same thing in order to feel safer.

This marine booster comes with a very powerful omnidirectional outside antenna, which catches signal in 360 degrees around the ship. Even when I’m 30km away from the coastline, it still works perfectly!

This model was released in 2018, so I think it’s better to look for a newer one. Nevertheless, LCD-GD-Boats is not bad. The indoor coverage is enough for large vehicles as mine. The outside antenna is omnidirectional and it’s very powerful. It’s possible to install 4 additional indoor antennas. The number of simultaneous users is not limited. The working frequencies are 900MHz and 1800MHz, so it’s compatible with the main European operators.

I like this product. It has great technical features. The indoor coverage is huge - 13 000 ft2. The omnidirectional outside antenna is very powerful. The working frequencies are the most widespread among the operators, so it’s compatible with several networks and can be used by several people at a time. I think that it will even amplify 3G at 900 MHz as well, but I’m not sure as I haven’t checked it yet.

It’s great that the full kit includes everything necessary for the installation. The external boat antenna comes with a 20 m cable, and the indoor antenna has a 5 m cable. The set contains 12V and 220V power supplies, so you can choose the adaptor you wish.

The booster is effective indeed. It effectively improves voice connection and mobile internet equally well. The only thing was that I had to order additional longer cable for the indoor antenna, as the one which was included in the standard set was a bit short for me, it was only 5 m. All the other options were satisfactory. The installation wasn’t complicated. It has been working without interruptions so far.

I’m fully pleased with the quality of the product and the services rendered by the company. The order was shipped shortly after I had placed it at the official website. All the necessary for installation fixations and mountings were included in the standard kit. The boosting system consists of the amplifier box and two antennas. The receiving antenna is placed outside and the indoor antenna’s function is to rebroadcast the improved signal. The only thing is that when I go farther than 40 km from the coastline I start to lose the signal.

I ordered this booster by mistake. Actually, I was looking for a marine booster, which supported signal amplification at 800 MHz band frequency, and I thought that Nikrans LCD-GD-Boats would solve my problem. But when I received the order and started to examine the user’s manual, I realized that I had made a mistake. Be attentive! LCD-GD-Boats works at 900 MHz and 1800 MHz. Fortunately, I managed to change this booster for another one.

My husband have ordered LCD-GD-Boats marine repeater this month. Everything is okay about the repeater, except the fact that they didn’t put the lightning protection in our order. The company offers it for additional price and I’ve chosen the option INCLUDED at the website and they forgot to send it. It was a real disappointment, although the manager made an excuse after my call and immediately sent it the following day.

I installed it on my yacht. In general, I’m satisfied with the result. The technical characteristics are not bad. The booster has a huge indoor coverage – 13 000 ft2. It supports two frequencies - GSM 900 MHz and DCS 1800 MHz, so it amplifies GSM and 4G at a time. I think that it even can improve 3G at 900 MHz and LTE at 1800 MHz, although I don’t use it for this purpose.
