This device is awesome!

This is not something that can pull a signal out of thin air and create one where there's simply nothing there. This all depends on the location, proximity to tower and so on - but it does work if there's enough existing signal to boost on if that makes any sense. If you have no service it will probably not be able to do anything for you.

Cell service is greatly improved since I installed this booster into my work car. Easy enough to install.

This little booster allows me to make calls and text and send pictures from area’s I wasn’t able to even get calls out before. It’s great for both emergency contact and normal work. This product has saved me time, money and stress.

Tested this in a few different road test. Also tested on my drive to work.

My wife uses it for her phone hotspot.

In addition she says it gives her confidence knowing I have it when I’m in remote places.

This is a booster not an extender. If you have a signal the system will amplify it. If there is no signal, the amplifier will not create it.

Its installation and set up was fairly easy. I liked that I do not have to drill holes in your vehicle. It is easy enough to use. I travel a lot. In all honesty I was hoping it would strengthen the signal and get me through the dead zones. It doesn't. But for highway driving it works well. The only other hiccup is that it sometimes reduces power in urban areas where signals are many and strong, where amplification is not needed.

Their manual provides all of the basics on how to do the installation but vehicles vary a great deal. If you have a vehicle with a soft or aluminum top this is probably not going to work for you because the external antenna has a magnetic base.

I give this device a qualified yes. It does boost as promised.

The Nikrans LCD-GL-Drive Car Booster amplifier has been an absolute game-changer for our road trips. Living in England, we often encounter poor cell phone service once we leave the city limits. However, since installing this booster, our road trips have been stress-free, as we have had consistent cell phone service the entire way.

Installation of the amplifier was a breeze and only took us an hour to complete, even though we aren't the most tech-savvy individuals. The instructions provided were easy to follow, and with a little trial and error, we were able to set it up without any issues. We have noticed that even when we are on the outskirts of town and the signal starts to fade, we are still able to maintain a strong signal with the help of this amplifier.

In fact, we have been able to maintain full bars of service well past the typical fading zone. Although we may not have LTE coverage in the middle of nowhere, we have the peace of mind of being able to make calls even in the remotest areas. The amplifier has also been incredibly helpful in areas where the signal is weak, such as popular campsites. It has drastically boosted the signal and has allowed us to do things like stream and FaceTime from our campsite, which was previously impossible.

Overall, we are thrilled with the Nikrans LCD-GL-Drive Car Booster amplifier and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of better cell phone service while on the go.
