Marine GSM/4G Signal Booster Nikrans LCD-GDW-Boats

I bought this booster for my husband and he liked it very much. Now he can’t do without this device when he is offshore. And I know that he will always be in touch. For me it’s a question of safety and security.

The set included one indoor antenna but the supplier stated that it was possible to add up to 4 inside antennas to diffuse the improved signal more efficiently. But we didn’t add any, as it was sufficient for us. My husband installed the booster himself. It was easy to do, even easier than to install a home booster, as the external antenna of the marine booster is omnidirectional, so he didn’t have to direct the antenna in the coastline position, as it immediately caught signal in 360° degrees around the ship. I recommend it!

The booster has a number of outstanding features - it’s compact but effective; it has three working frequencies; it has the possibility to add up to our inside antennas; and it’s equipped with LCD screens. This device is great for people who need to be connected, when they are offshore.

Let me say a few words about this wonderful device. That may sound like praise but it’s worth every penny! LCD-GDW-Boats is the booster I have been using for half a year and I’m totally in love with it. The model is very compact but it’s effective and reliable. Before buying it, I decided to contact the support team to be sure about the model I had chosen and they told me that this triband booster would be okay for my yacht. The model ensures stable voice connection and uninterrupted 3g, when I’m offshore. I’m enjoying every minute of using my mobile device now, as the coverage is perfect and without any signal issues.

I have been using the repeater for a few months and have noticed no drawbacks yet. For me it is very important that the work of marine mobile amplifiers does not affect the operation of navigation devices, the quality of ship's radio navigation communications, and is absolutely safe for human health and the environment. Moreover, I feel safer and protected with this device as I’m always in touch when I’m offshore.

Well, what I do like about the model is that it has a very powerful omnidirectional outside antenna, so you don’t have to direct it to the coastline. I also like the LCD screens which display working parameters and installation tips. The device automatically goes into sleep mode when you don’t need it, and it’s undoubtedly a great plus for energy saving. What I don’t like is the small coverage area – 500 m2. I wish it were at least 700-800 m2. I also think that the price is a little high for this model.

Although the description of the kit says that it includes two power supplies, I received my booster with only one 12V adaptor. Fortunately, they sent me the 220V adaptor when I asked for it.

The order came quite fast but unfortunately the kit didn’t contain mounting accessories. First I wanted to call the support team, but then I managed to solve the problem myself. I just asked my colleague and he gave me his mountings which he didn’t use.

The internet speed before I switched on this booster was almost two times slower than after I switched it on. I have no problems with cell phone signal as well. This device is very compact and does not have many inconvenient wires, but does its job nicely. Trying to get a signal while on the boat is always complicated, but the booster made it much easier and I don’t think I struggled with the signal ever since I got it.
