Boost GSM and 4G Signal Strength with the LCD600 GSM+4G Signal Booster
I recently purchased the GSM 4G Signal Booster Nikrans LCD600 GSM+4G, and I must say it has made a significant difference in our signal reception. I got it at a discounted price, which made the purchase even more attractive.
The product works exactly as advertised, and what's more, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service. The customer service team reached out to me proactively to ensure I didn't encounter any issues during the installation process. Although I didn't require assistance, their proactive approach was highly appreciated.
Installing the antenna and running cables can be a bit challenging, especially if you're not comfortable with heights or drilling holes. However, for the average do-it-yourselfer, it's manageable. The results, in the end, are fantastic.
One of the standout features for me is that the Nikrans booster covers frequencies for both EE and Vodafone. Despite living in an urban area, our house is located in a low spot, resulting in minimal signal inside. This booster provided the much-needed boost to our signal.
My wife, who makes daily calls to her elderly mother using EE and an iPhone, no longer has to do the "can you hear me now" routine while walking around the house. The Nikrans booster has resolved this issue.
I opted to use the amplifier's display to determine the best tower location. Climbing onto the roof, I carefully pointed the antenna in all directions, noting the strongest overall signal for 800 & 2600 MHz. Due to the steep roof angles, I initially tried to mount the antenna on the old Dish Network pole near the edge of the house, but it provided only minimal signal improvement. The steep roof prevented me from safely reaching the necessary signal direction. Consequently, I mounted the antenna on a nearby tree, understanding that it might lead to some signal variations. Despite this, the increased height resulted in improved signal quality, and my wife can now make phone calls from anywhere in the house.
Our signal strength went from just 1 bar to an average of 3 bars, sometimes even reaching 4 bars within the house. Telephone calls and texts now work perfectly indoors, which was not the case before.
