Triband Mobile Booster Nikrans BD-300GDW

I'm from Manchester, England and I recently purchased the Triband Mobile Booster Nikrans BD-300GDW. From what I can tell, it works! Overall, I highly recommend this mobile signal booster to anyone who needs a better mobile signal. Since installing the booster, I've noticed a significant improvement in my mobile signal strength. Before I installed the booster, I would often get disconnected from Zoom meetings, but now I'm able to stay connected with only occasional notifications of an unstable internet connection. However, there are still some occasional slow speeds, but I think that depends on the time of day.

The only reason I didn't give the product a higher rating is that it was somewhat difficult to set up. The instructions were clear, but it took some trial and error to get everything set up correctly. I bought a special stop to mount the antenna on the wall of the house in the direction of the cell tower.

If you're planning to purchase this product, I recommend experimenting with different locations for the inside and outside antennas during setup, as this can significantly impact the signal. Also, I found that downloading apps like FindTower and OpenSignal can be helpful. While I struggled to figure out OpenSignal, FindTower was particularly useful in helping me locate the nearest tower and point the outside antenna towards it to maximize the signal boost.

We built a tin shed and insulated it for a living space but received no service inside. All phone calls and texts had to be made outside or if you were lucky, placing your phone in the window sill.

I was on the fence on getting this product. It seemed very high in price and I was worried it wouldn't work. It does work very well and I've enjoyed internet in very unexpected spots I've never been able to get a signal. If the area is not covered with a tower somewhere nearby, it's obviously not going to work. If there are towers, and there is a signal, this device will give you more than you would have had without it. In some cases that might be very slow data speeds vs. nothing. In other cases it might be a dramatic difference.

I installed the whole signal booster myself in about an hour (most of the time involved running cable) and immediately got three bars inside the cabin! My family was blown away by how well this worked. We now have the ability to call, text, and access data. Having the ability to answer calls from those in the woods hunting or cutting wood puts everyone at ease and improves our safety. Honestly can't believe I didn't take a chance on this sooner but was hesitant with price. Absolutely worth it!
