Improves Signal

Clear up the working frequencies of your operator

I bought it to amplify 1800 Mhz and couldn’t understand why it didn’t work. I called the support team and they told me that this model works for 900 Mhz and 2100 Mhz, so due to the lack of the required frequency, it was a completely useless purchase. Fortunately, I managed to return it and bought NS-300GD instead.

Black booster box

I was disappointed to discover that the booster box in the standard set is black, while the two antennas are white. I ordered the device for my hotel, where the level of mobile signal was very low and there was no mobile internet at all. The booster doesn’t match the interiors, as my walls are white, and the furniture is of light colours. It’s a pity! Although it improves signal effectively, to be honest.

Good characteristics

Excellent customer support

I bought the model LCD-1200GD one month ago and decided to install the booster by myself. The company delivered to me a full kit with the detailed instruction for the installation. The device is really effective. The only thing to pay attention to when installing it – is the direction of the outdoor antenna. You should turn it to the nearest operator’s mast in order to catch any existing signal.

Complicated installation

I bought this booster on my friend’s advice for my trading center. The device works well, but its installation wasn’t as simple as it had seemed to me. I thought that the booster consists of the amplifying box and two antennas, but it turned out that the set included two indoor ceiling antennas, a whip antenna and an outdoor antenna. I think that it’s because of the huge coverage area of the model. In any case, it was difficult for me to make out how all the antennas should be connected and where they should be placed. Fortunately, my friend is good at signal amplifying systems and he agreed to help me.

Both manual and automatic gain control

Beyond my expectations

Frankly speaking, I wanted to leave a review immediately on the day I received my order, but later decided to test if for a few days. So, I have been using it for a week already. Powerful device

My husband bought LCD-1200GD to amplify the 4g signal in our cabin several months ago. In fact, 4g was simply absent there. And it was hard to communicate or solve any work issues being on the weekends there. Luckily, we have 4 bars out of 4 on our laptop. Moreover, the booster has the automatic adjustment of power and sometimes we forget to turn it off, but it doesn't influence later performance.

Worth a try

I live in an area where Vodafone service is spotty. Making calls require additional effort. Well, I chose this booster and spent the money. I had to go up and down the ladder more than 100 times for installation. The result? It works. I went from zero to a bar of 4G to a consistent 3 bar signal. It is a full improvement over what I had but, for the money, I was expecting more. And another thing to keep in mind, the open signal app is useful in finding the direction of the tower you are receiving. In my case, the tower I thought was mine was another provider’s one.

Not bad

I wanted to improve both voice connection and mobile internet and the manager advised me to install LCD-500GD. It’s fine for the office, which is a bit more than 5000 ft2. The coverage is stable, sometimes it can become a bit worse, but still we can use our phones for calls and the internet is more or less stable.

With ISO function

It's the best

I've already had an amplifier a year ago but it was broken. That's why I acquired this one with concern that something the same can happen with it. What I like most is a 3-year warranty and service which was essential for me. Check your frequencies

The booster works only with some UK operators. So in order to be sure that the amplifier is suitable, you need to know the frequencies of your operator. I solved this issue just in a few minutes using a special cell towers app.

Poor moisture protection

The product has a poor moisture protection. My baby spilled a little water on it and the water got inside and degraded the functionality. Fortunately, I dried the device with a hair dryer and after a while it started working normally again.

I’m happy

I received my booster in four days after the order. It came safe and sound, very well packed. Everything corresponds to the description provided by the supplier. All the elements were properly packed as well. I installed the booster with my friend, spent about half an hour on the set up. We turned it on and everything worked very well. I’m using it in the countryside cottage, which is large enough. The coverage here used to be weak. I had only 1-2 bars around the cottage. The problem is that the nearest provider’s mast is more than 25 km away. The outdoor antenna was mounted on the roof in the direction of the operator’s mast. Now I have a stable signal and I’m really happy with the result. I recommend this device to everyone who wants to improve poor reception, especially in the rural area.

Great thing!

I received it a few days ago and asked my neighbour to help me with the installation. After the set up, the repeater caught all the possible providers in the area. The coverage on the boat is very good now, even in the places where there used to be now reception at all. The booster improves calls and the internet. I can watch movies without any interruptions. I make and receive calls everywhere I want on the deck or in the cabin. I am heard very well, although before that the companion didn’t hear me at all. Generally speaking, this repeater is a great thing! I recommend it to everyone who sails and suffers from poor reception.

The device definetely does its job

I live in a rural area. I have pretty good service in my driveway, but the service in the house before I had bought a booster was more like 0-2 gsm bars. This device gave me 3 bars of GSM and reliable LTE in the house. It does what it says. But it is a pricey device. I never had dropped calls in the house, even with only 1 bar. Since I have good wi-fi and my provider allows me to make calls, I don't actually need this device. The improvement isn’t sufficient enough to justify the cost. For somebody in a different situation, this could be quite useful.

Has Pluses & Minuses

Well, what I do like about the model is that it has a very powerful omnidirectional outside antenna, so you don’t have to direct it to the coastline. I also like the LCD screens which display working parameters and installation tips. The device automatically goes into sleep mode when you don’t need it, and it’s undoubtedly a great plus for energy saving. What I don’t like is the small coverage area – 500 m2. I wish it were at least 700-800 m2. I also think that the price is a little high for this model.

Looks nice

You’d laugh at me, but I have chosen this model, because I liked it the most. I mean the appearance, although the characteristics are not bad as well. The whole amplifying system is very compact. It included the Nikrans LCD-150D repeater itself, an indoor whip antenna, an outdoor antenna, 16-meter cable for the outdoor antenna, a power supply and a manual with instructions. The booster box has an LCD screen, which I like very much. It shows information about the settings, possible errors and signal level. Now I can’t even imagine my life without this device. I’d advise it to everyone who would like to have better mobile coverage at home.

Fulfills its main function

The amplifier works stably without any interruptions or disconnections. It was purchased to improve poor coverage in our village house, which is located in the forest. Caught the internet and amplified the signal 20 km away

Excellent quality and it works smoothly. The most important thing was the Internet in the house, which was so slow that it was a real nightmare. I called so many masters, they could not configure anything.Then I saw this device at my neighbors and also bought it. Let me say that we have a wilderness and a forest all around, even the GSM signal at home was unbearable. Great solution

When I was in the sea I suffered from constant signal losses. Actually, signal problems weren’t new to me. Solved my problem

This is my second booster. The first one I have been using at the office and this one was purchased for home, just because I cannot imagine my life without this device any more. The one I bought for work improves both GSM and 3G, so it cost a bit more than LCD-400D, which I’m using at home. LCD-400D solved my problem once and for all.
